"When I found out that I had glaucoma it came as a shock. Of course, I was afraid that this meant I was going to be blind. I started researching and while researching, I found this community. Here were people going through or having gone through the same thing I was. The support and information I got helped to ease my fears and helped me to realize that though my life was changed, I could still do the things I love to do, though maybe differently. This disease could only take over my life if I let it. This group has helped me to live with glaucoma. Because of it, I know that I'm not alone."
